Weee...I am SO looking forward to this year's NBA season. Last season was predictable (I kept telling Toby how the Spurs would win the championships but he didn't believe me). Hopefully, this year will be a blast, too! I really wish to see my two fave teams (SA Spurs and MI Heat) competing for the championship. Pardon my French, but SA seriously kicked Detroit's butt last season (harhar @ Mong and Bobby) and I'm hoping that they'd do the same thing for Miami (I love both teams but I'm more of a Spurs fan ^^) this season. haha :D I watched yesterday's SA match with the Nuggets, and the game seemed like a no-brainer--SA was gonna win. Tony Parker has definitely improved from last season--probably since he had a shooting coach or something. Nevertheless, the Spurs have proven in their last game that they are definitely NOT a team to mess around with, but then again, anything can happen. After all, it's only the start of the playoffs (premiere week). Whatever happens, I'll be rooting for SA all the way (hey, I rhyme! :P)!

I had my hair cut over the weekend. I wanted my hair to be shoulder-length, but the person in the hair salon wanted to style my hair and "over-cut" it. Now my hair's short (ehrm..4-5 inches was chopped off) and it's short and it's short. The only consolation I have (I think) is that it's still curly. Damn. I wanted shoulder-length hair, not short hair. Now my hair looks like a dog knawed the ends or something...Boo. Hopefully, it'll grow back in two weeks... *** Went on a 12-hour shopping adventure at Rustan's Makati, Glorietta, Robinson's, and at the supermarket with my family last Sunday. Wrote that poem a couple of minutes ago. *sigh* I kinda miss everyone... On the bright side of things, I get to bond with my family members more often. I have lunch dates with my father... PS2 matches with my brother... And girl bonding-slash-pampering sessions with my mother and sister. Weee... I've had a crazy weekend--a total opposite of how my first week of sembreak had been. It has been so crazy, I do not know where to begin! I bonded with old friends, went shopping and attended my friend's debut party. *Patty M! Di ako na-bored sa weekend ko. Weee...and I promise to finish my loser project by the end of the week* High School Memories I met some of my High School buddies in this year's ICA fair, and bonded with some of them. I miss them soooo much. I haven't seen most of them for about 7 months, so imagine our excitement when we met up, bonded and caught up with the latest happenings about each other. Bonding with them made me reminisce on the good ol' ICA days--back when we had our REALLY crazy adventures inside and outside the school grounds. *sigh* You guys haven't changed a bit (and I'm still the crazy AL you've come to know and love back in high school). Amishyu! *hugz* Eksmen!!! Miss ko na rin kayoooooo    Oh, and ICA Greenhills looks slightly different now. It's also been 7 months since I last stepped on ICA ground. The caf's all different, and they have ramps in the grade school area! Weee... The ICA Fair    ICA Fair was still the usual ICA Fair...nothing much happening (though I did see Gab in the fair--hoy Gab! Ba't ka nandun?! hahaha). Most of the time I was hanging out with my former club mates and club moderator, hanging out for old times' sake (hey, after being a club member for the past 3 years and the club president for the past 2 years, how can I not possibly get attached to these people?! :D). I spent most of my time in the fair helping out in the club booth (my sister's this year's club president--talk about nepotism! haha:D). Shoutouts to my sister dear, Dom, Angela Chua, Danielle, Steph Te, Steph Yap, Di, Li, Pam, Kim, KimGo, Zhayne, and the rest ^^ Ms. Jen Oliva (an ICA and DLSU graduate) and I had a friendly AdMU-DLSU debate on the recent DLSU UAAP scandal. I was telling her that there was this rumor going around that MacMac Cardona was an "illegal" player and if the UAAP people have proof that Cardona was in fact, an "illegal" player, DLSU would then have to forfeit their 2003 Championship Title and would have to, consequently, turn in the title to AdMU. Weee...ahahaha :P Ms. Oliva then said, "Even though our championship titles may be forfeited, it's okay because deep in our hearts, we know that we are the true winners." Whatever. ahahaha :P Kidding... My former teachers chatted with me, asking me where I was studying for college and what course--some even mentioned that they saw me on TV a few weeks ago. haha XD And then when I went around the bazaar, a girl from the Fyrinx batch (Ginger) who had a stall in the bazaar, struck a conversation with me when I was browsing through the merchandise she was selling. Ginger: Are you an ICAn? Me: Yeah, though I've graduated already. Ginger: Really? Why so early? Me: Huh? Ginger: Did you start schooling at a young age? When did you graduate? Me: Huh? No. I just graduated last year. Ginger: Ah, the Zephyrz batch? Me: Yeah Ginger: Ah, I thought kasi na na-accelerate ka or something cos you look so young pa eh Weird, huh? The fair was a so-so typical ICA Fair. I found it annoying that little kids were running around the fairgrounds, spraying cans of party foam whatchamacallits and wasting their parents' money by buying some more once they're done victimizing someone with those sprays. Argh!!! There were little particles flying everywhere. What was so annoying was that once those little particles landed on your hair, it seemed like there was dandruff on your head. Weh. I went Christmas shopping last weekend--I bought gifts for my family and friends (no wonder I'm currently broke). Well, it's okay. At least I've started my Christmas shopping--and it's only October ^^ My brother is sooo cute. I didn't know a lot of people actually read the junk I put in here. haha :D Never knew my life was that interesting...Cheers! *** ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History. Your voice DOES make a difference! Did you guys notice the ONE white band on the uppermost right side of this blog? I put it in there. We can't deny the fact that there are a lot of people out there suffering from poverty--children die from hunger, mothers kill their children because they cannot feed them and would rather kill them and quickly end their lives rather than watch their children slowly starve to death... Poverty is still an issue that needs to be solved immediately. What better way to address the problem by talking about it instead of pretending that it isn't a problem and not doing anything about it? I was thinking that with my 13,000++ blog hits, I could help in my own little way. Visitors would see that white band, [hopefully] click on the link to the site and sign the declaration. Like the slogan of ONE stated, "We don't need your money, we only need your voice. ONE by ONE, we can make the difference." Please support ONE and help make a difference. Sign the declaration. I certainly wouldn't want to do last-minute Christmas shopping...plus, I've already made my list because I got bored the other day *snickers*) *** Books to read over the sembreak: 1.
