For the past few days I've been really busy with schoolwork that I haven't exactly found the time to blog about how my week went. When I'm not busy, I'm tired or too lazy to blog. I guess Calculus must have been draining my brain too much. I love school, but math is killing me. Actually, Calculus isn't that difficult. It's just that I feel like my brain's turning to mush with overloaded information. Howell. Gotta cope with that. Because my brain's all mushed up, most probably what I am about to blog would either not make any sense or would lack coherence. Please bear with me as I try to write a decent entry. Lit class was "fun". Poems about bees and drowsing and nobody and all that stuff courtesy of, according to James, "old school" equipment in the MMR. I almost fell asleep in Calculus class. Uana, KatD, Kei, and I checked out the Blue Eagle Christmas Bazaar thingie in the Cervini/Eliazo field. Guess who we bumped into? SIR ARIS!!! I miss him so much. haha :P Sir, do you miss your palangke? XD I am 1/3 of the Botany class beadles. While doing the seatplan, I discovered that there's exactly a one-to-one ration between males and females in our class. Asteeg.
I wanna watch HP4. AMA Mall set-up tomorrow at the SEC Field from 7:30am to 12nn. See you guys there! Ingga, let me know when you arrive ah. I'll be in school around 7am... To make up for this nonsense entry, I'll post a poem tomorrow. :D *** Apparently, Coldplay's "The Scientist" is my song of the day. That song keeps on haunting me. People kept singing that song, making me get LSS-ed, and when I sat down for Math class, I noticed that someone had written the lyrics on my table. Weird. It's like someone's trying to tell me something by subconsciously making the song pop up everywhere I go--or maybe yet it's just plain and pure coincidence. Dunno. Come up to meet ya, tell you I'm sorry You don't know how lovely you are I had to find you, tell you I need ya And tell you I set you apart Tell me your secrets, and nurse me your questions Oh lets go back to the start Running in circles, coming in tails Heads on a science apart Nobody said it was easy It's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be this hard Oh take me back to the start I was just guessing at numbers and figures Pulling the puzzles apart Questions of science, science and progress Do not speak as loud as my heart And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me ***

I had a blast in our Modern Jazz class earlier today. I love dancing. I really do. Ma'am was kinda happy with the way I did the stretching exercises because while the rest of my PE classmates were struggling with their stretches, I did mine with minimal difficulty. I have to thank one whole semester of Taekwondo for that. Lysch was kinda surprised that I could STRETCH. haha :D Lysch, Hannah, paano na ba iyan? Let me know if you guys absorbed the dance steps ah. I'm sorta lost, but if I don't think of the steps and do it mechanically/naturally/whatever, nagagawa ko naman. Weird. At first I was kinda shy with all the people outside watching us dance (que horror! MAC, my ex-happy crush was there watching me dance! :o), but then I soon got tired of feeling conscious all over and decided, "what the heck, I'll just dance like no one is watching." And that's when I became more confident of myself and did not care if the people outside were watching. I didn't know who they were so I didn't care. hahaha :P *** Botany Lecture was F-U-N! I'm beginning to like Botany. I like my teacher--she has this really cool way of catching our interest and keeping the class alive. I'm also beginning to get used to a NatSci without the rest of my loveable ES classmates. Howell. Kev! Next-door neighbors pa naman tayo eh. hehe :D Chua and her blockies sat-in in our Botany class. Hangkyut. They mistook Nix for Cardona's bro. haha :D Nix, sikat ka na! Whehehe ^^ ![]() *** Oh, and yeah. Yesterday, Jeff and I went on an adventure in search for our Calc book. We went malling, commuting, etc. , but with no luck we couldn't find what we were looking for. Howell. Next time ulit, little bro! :) I'm just too lazy to blog. P.S. I just realized that my blog has had 14,000 ++ visitors so far. Wow. A novel was written on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 09:17 pm Write a novel Link my entry? Tuesday, November 15, 2005
Tuesdays are supposed to be good days. So why am I not happy? :( I know there's no reason to feel sad. So why do I feel sad? I miss my ES class. I miss Sir Claveria. I miss my taekwondo class. Boo. A novel was written on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 09:01 pm Write a novel Link my entry?
We had our very first formal Calculus class today. It was okay...I sort of understood the lesson--I think. God Bless me in my Calculus class! ^^ I'm not good in Math--it's my weakest subject. I guess I have to study harder this time if I want to get a really good grade. I got to know my Botany classmates. Found out that there were a number of ICAns in the class and that Dondi and Bhelly were to be my classmates. Wellow! :D Lab was fun. My stomach and cheeks hurt from all the laughing. Nix, Roniel, Quino, Rick, and Gino were quite funny, especially the one about the "marijuana" joke for Botany class. Exagge ang daming S2!!! Nats and I felt so out of place in that lab table with all the S2's in there. Ma'am arranged us alphabetically. Lucky for me, the ones who ended up in my lab table were Nix, Raffy, Yayish, Dom, and Gab. Gab, I hate you so much I wanna wring your neck. haha :P I went through Botany class with mixed feelings. The teacher was pretty cool, but I wasn't really in a good mood during the class. For one thing, my Natsci felt like the first day of OrSem. I felt like I had a sinking pit in my stomach, and that feeling just sucked. I did know some people in the class (former schoolmates, ES classmates, friends of friends, etc) but they do have their own circle of friends already in the class (blockmates, barkada, etc). Being the introvert that I am, I sorta "hid" in my shell. It's really difficult for me to connect with someone. Really, it is (though people find that hard to believe). Swerte mo kung "ka-vibes" kita...haha jk! :D Because of that fact, I find it hard for me to mingle with a new crowd. Honestly, it's slowly killing me. I guess it's time to take the plunge and make new friends. I miss my ES class....Too bad kaming dalawa lang ni Nats magkasama from R3 (Kamae's hanging out with her barkada). I should've taken Physics--majority of the block's in there! I kinda envy S2 in Botany class--ang dami nila eh! Tuloy, naiilang ako kahit meron naman akong kilala... :( Howell. I thank Nix, Raffy, Dondi, Patty, and Bhelly for at least making me feel at ease during our Botany class. It really sucks being an introvert. Oh, and we have this groupwork project at the end of the sem. With everyone in their social circles (blockmates, barkadas, etc.), sino kaya magiging groupmates namin ni Nats? Sadness. Parang loners and misfits tuloy kami... Boo.
*** Si Hubby stalker ko. Buong araw ko na siyang nakakasalubong eh. Miss na niya kasi ako--hindi ko na siya ka-math eh. whehehe jk! XD Andy and Jeff watched me during my PE class. Actually, okay lang ako kay Jeff kasi nung first sem pinanood ko naman siya kaya patas lang (though sa kanya he invited me but in my case, I didn't haha :P). But for Andy? Well, his is a different story. I don't want Andy watching me dance!!! :o Nakakahiya! hahaha :D
Bonded with Hannah, my ICA grade school friend, right after PE. We stayed in this bench near SOM Walk/Lover's Lane (haha FYI, hindi po kami tibo). It's been a long time since we last talked. We reminisced on ICA memories and stuff. Grabe, Hannah, I miss chatting with you. Let's bond again next Thursday! :D To a Friend
I ask but one thing of you, only one, That always you will be my dream of you; That never shall I wake to find untrue All this I have believed and rested on, Forever vanished, like a vision gone Out into the night. Alas, how few There are who strike in us a chord we knew Existed, but so seldom heard its tone We tremble at the half-forgotten sound. The world is full of rude awakenings And heaven-born castles shattered to the ground, Yet still our human longing vainly clings To a belief in beauty through all wrongs. I'm too lazy to blog on how my day went. I'll edit this next time. When I'm not laughing like hell. Who knew laughter could be so contagious and could make you too lazy to blog? "Life doesn't come out the way we pictured it... But sometimes we don't see that it turned out more beautifully" Nainspire ako sa quote na iyan. I nicked it off a crazy dude's blog. Kaya ako nababaliw dito eh. Not to mention I've got Britney Spears' songs stuck in my head... A novel was written on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 06:55 pm Write a novel Link my entry? ...I went shopping. I couldn't help myself. It was too good an opportunity to pass. I went Christmas shopping--again. My list is getting longer and longer and my wallet is getting thinner and thinner. haha ^u^ So I guess this is it. Goodbye to a bum's life, hello to a nerdy lifestyle. I was really ticked off with my qpi for the first sem. I kept thinking to myself, "If I studied in DLSU, I would've been a Dean's Lister...", but you know what? I'm happy that I'm in AdMU (despite the fact that I was a few teeny weeny points short of being a DL). If I didn't study here, I wouldn't have met such awesome and lifelong friends, I wouldn't have appreciated my high school education in ICA (thank you cramming sessions and teachers who loved giving us GIGANTIC loads of homework), and I wouldn't have entered my "dream school". Second sem's gonna be ...another round of Lulu and Cory nightmares ...a bummer with no Ehmers as classmate ...a fun one with Nix and the rest of my crazy first-sem ES classmates in Botany ...a sad one with the block all split up for Fil class (I miss our palengke) ...a happy one with all but two blockmates in our Calculus class ...a loaded one just by looking at my schedule ...an exciting one with Batangas bonding with Charles and company. ...a blast! After all, life begins in the second sem ;) A novel was written on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at 05:30 pm Write a novel Link my entry? Friday, November 11, 2005
It's my mom's 50th birthday today! Happy, happy, happy birthday, mother dearest! Luv yah! *mwah!* Unfortunately, she's in China today and will be gone for the rest of the week (next week), so we're gonna hold her 50th birthday bash at the Crowne Plaza when she comes home. *** I don't get it. I just don't. What is it with guys and friendster testimonials? 3 or 4 of my guy buddies YM-ed me, asking me to make them testimonials and promising that they'd make me one, too after I make them one (careerin ko daw). And after I "career-ed" my testimonials for them, they say "Thanks" and never bother making me one back. Okay. And then I ask them for their testis for me and then they say that they'll make it later on, but they never do. What's up with that? It's kinda funny to notice a certain trend with these guys...it's like they come from the same mold even though they're from different origins. haha :P I don't really know whether to feel annoyed or amused. I guess guys will be guys, and they're all from the same mold--with a few exceptions, of course. ^^ ***
ability to understand and connect with people. Not only are you excellent at resolving conflicts and helping people work together more effectively, you also have the ability to help people feel good about themselves definitely a talent worth having! Hogwarts Sorting Hat: Based on Myers-Briggs Personality Typing brought to you by Quizilla Weee...I'm from Hufflepuff. Apparently, only 5% of the total test takers had this result. Izzat good? Mrs. Dayao was my Third Year History teacher. I remember her for her frankness and strong principles in life. She taught me so much about life and about sticking to my own principles even though people would try to bring me down. I guess I could relate to her ideals because in a sense, just like her, I'm sort of idealistic...all pent up on trying to find ways to make the world a better place. Last night, she posted a message in the Friendster bulletin board. Here's what she said: "I read the testimonials sent to me by my students from ICA and it dawned on me that i never got to say thank you to most if not all of you. It is now that i take the chance to say thank you. I want you to know that in my hour of need and during moments of sadness and confusion, your testimonials do wonders to my soul. It revives my spirit and helps me to continuously believe in the innate goodness of man. I know that most of you are grown ups now or more mature than when i first met you. But you will always remind me of how carefree the youth can be. Hold on to your childlike qualities. When i was young i wanted to grow old sooner only to find myself happiest when i was at your age. So please enjoy your youth. Celebrate life each day at a time. Do not force yourself to grow old too soon and too fast. You cannot bring back time so live each day to the fullest. Aspire for greatness and find the motivation you need to find who you are. Dont let anyone tell you who you have to be...find out for yourself. Let true friends influence you but always think for yourself. You dont have to be perfect now, youll get there...discover who you are and then be the best you want to be. It seems cliche to say all these, especially since i was your teacher, but for most of you who know me i guess you can remember how i say things i truly believe in. I trusted you when you were in my class...so how can you not trust yourself. Make the step...its time." Words of wisdom from a very great teacher. Mrs. Dayao, I will never forget you. Yesterday, I made a new friend. Hello Esgue! :D He's from BS Mgt and is Uana's friend from Ateneo High. We bonded in the SEC Walk area whilst waiting for our random numbers to be called and our friends to arrive. He's a funny guy. I actually noticed that we shared a lot of things in common--like the fact that Lulu was also his teacher in Merit English and that we were both shoe-less for about 30 minutes (Esgue, I like your lady sandals. hehehe) because our English blockmates borrowed our shoes since they couldn't register if they didn't follow the SOM dress code. haha^^ See you around, Esgue! It was nice chatting with you! Blockmates, here is my final schedule for the second sem. Please check it out instead of constantly asking me what my schedule is. Thanks. :D M-W-F 0830-0930: Filipino (sadness...our block's split up into FOUR sections) - CTC204 0930-1030: "Merit" English (Ingga, good luck sa atin sa expository writing) - B305 1030-1130: Poetry Literature (Yay!) - B305 1330-1430: Calculus (At least our block's almost complete--almost. :c) - SECA204A T-Th 0730-0900: Calculus (6 units. I can do this.) - CTC305 0930-1130: Botany Lab (Ah, yes. Plants and drawing. No lab reports like ES!!!) - SECB105A (T only) 1200-1330: Botany Lec (It's like ES all over again) - SECA116A 1400-1500: Modern Jazz (Gotta learn so I can teach Gab ^^) - Dance Area
Yes, I'll be dancing my way through PE. Apparently, the slots for PE101 Q were already filled up when I registered. I think the Big Guy up there doesn't want me to take PE101 for the second sem. Ralf told me that Running was gonna be sort of a hassle, so I settled for Modern Jazz instead. Anyone wanna take PE101 with me during the summer? :-\ P.S. I just realized that MM's the only one in my block whom I don't have a class with. Boo. ***
I got Botany for my NatSci. I told you that I would. It sounds like I'm gonna attend Professor Sprout's class just like in Harry Potter. haha ^^ Can't wait to watch that film (HP4)
In the caf at 12nn Me to blockmates: Meron ba sa inyo nagbotany? (Blockmates look at each other) Blockmates: No...I got Physics. I got Chem. I got ES. ES. Physics. ES. Chem. Me: Do you guys know anyone who took up Botany???? Blockmates: Er..no. After that I was like, "YAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN MY BLOCK TAKING UP BOTANY!!! I was kinda sad since I wasn't going to be with my blockmates and that I would be a loner on the first day of NatSci (I'm an introvert. I don't easily mingle with people so I don't make new friends easily), but then Patty Mangahas texted me, telling me that she and Ces got Botany. Yayish passed by the caf and told me that she got Botany. Raffy and Candice passed by SEC and told me they were also taking up Botany. Nix told me he was taking up Botany. Thank goodness for ES classmates! haha ^^ Later on that day, Charles texted me and told me that Nats took Botany. Kamae texted me to tell me that she also got Botany. At the end of the day, I was happy. I wasn't going to be the only one in my block taking Botany (hello Nats and Kamae!), and my ES buddies (Hello Nix, Candice, Raffy, Patty, Yayish, Ces) were going to be my classmates, too! Yay! Yay! Yay! Hope our Botany class would turn out to be fun :D A novel was written on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 06:34 am Comments (3) Link my entry? Tuesday, November 08, 2005
Weee...SPURS won against the Bulls 104-95 OT. Uana asked me to join her in PE 101 (guys, section Q T-Th 2-3pm). I'm still thinking whether I should take it cos for sure we'll be given a lot of reading material for English and Lit class... Maika invited me to take running. PE 107 R RUNNING 2 1500 1600 T-TH COV COURTS DE LA CRUZ, LEMMUEL DOMINGO S. What'll I choose? *** Registration's tomorrow and I still don't know which NatSci to take. Physics: Macabebe's the teacher. She's no Kendra but her class is A-able. Physics is the easiest next to ES so I'm guessing this'll be filled up quickly. Chemistry: Urgh. Too many chemical formulas, compounds, etc to memorize. Not too sure with the teacher either. Botany: It's the closest thing to ES, which is good--I think. Zoology: Killer workload, reading material and horrid lab (those poor animals...). Yech. Therefore, it's a toss between Physics and Botany. But looking at my random number, I'm guessing that I'll be settling for Botany instead. *sigh* I hope my classmates turn out to be okay...so far I don't know anyone who's taking up Botany for the second sem... =( Anyone care to join me in Botany? :(( A novel was written on Tuesday, November 08, 2005 at 02:54 pm Comments (2) Link my entry?
