I Never Knew...I'm Sorry.
I never knew until now.
Why didn't he tell me?
Now I know.

I'm sorry.

I wish you could've told me sooner.
But now there's nothing that I could do.
I wish you had told me right from the very start
Exactly what was on your mind and heart.

Maybe then I would've understood
Why you were trying to hide everything
By constantly annoying me to seek my attention.
Maybe then things would finally be clear
Between you and me.

I'm sorry.

I wish I could be there for you.
I wish that I could comfort you.
Maybe it's never too late.
Maybe it is, maybe it's not.
No one knows for sure.

I never knew...
but now I know.
Now I know the real story.

If the word, "sorry" did not exist
I wouldn't know what to say.

I'm sorry.

Discovery of the day: MAC's classroom is right next to mine in CTC. Wala lang. haha :D Too bad he's no longer my happy crush. Imagine how giddy I'd be if I still liked him. haha :P And now I notice that MAC keeps on popping up all over campus. I just find that simply amusing. Haha ^u^

PostScript. I seriously have to sort out my YM list and re-classify YM IDs according to importance and theme/subject. I don't really notice people (whom I usually chat with in YM) online because their names are waaayyyy below the list. Gotta fix it up, somehow. haha :D

I know it's not my fault but...

You're so far, yet so near.
I wish for you to be right here.
Wishing you were here with me.
You're the only one who sets me free.

We were dismissed early from our Botany class. After hanging out with Charles and Nats under the heat of the sun, we decided to go to the CompLab to cool off.

We had our groupings in Botany class, and we're supposed to report on Tuesday.

You know what I simply hate? I hate it when people often assume that a blockmate should automatically be your groupmate in groupings such as these. Is it a crime to be groupmates with other friends that aren't part of your block? I had a classmate who assumed that his blockmates would be his groupmates. And then when he found out that they weren't going to be his groupmates, he immediately said "Backstabbers!!!" in a "parinig" manner. What gives?! He didn't have the right to call them backstabbers. That judgment call's so unfair. Since when is grouping with your other friends instead of blockmates considered backstabbing? And yes, being the AL that I am, I sorta got affected even though I knew that it wasn't my fault. I'm sure that he's a nice guy and all that, but what he did was just plain mean. What right did he have to judge them and call them names just because they went to a different group?! That is sooo unfair. But then again, life is never fair.

This is why I don't want to get too attached to my blockmates.
I'll probably end up having a "my-blockmates-are-my-friends-only-and-not-yours" syndrome, which I believe a few of my blockmates are already possessing.

Blockmates are there to help you pull through your first year in college, given the fact that you don't know much people at the start of the year. That doesn't necessarily mean that you have to stick with them forever.

We all need our freedom.
We all need some room to grow and more friends to meet.
Sometimes we also need our own space, some time to be alone for awhile.
But sometimes blockmates don't understand that, so they crash into your little party.

It just sucks that some people think that if you're a blockmate of theirs, that means that you have to always hang out with them (and I'm basically pertaining to my observations and experiences on freshie people suffering from this kind of mentality).

I needed to get this stuff out of my head. Sorry for ranting.
Bato bato sa langit, ang tamaan wag magalit.

It just annoyed me and hurt my feelings for some reasons unknown.

I know it's not my fault, so why do I feel so bad and hurt deep inside?

(edit @ 6:18 pm)

It's official. We, the English block of R12, are sick and tired of all the moldy books in the Rizal Library. We spent the whole day (during our free time) in the library searching for several stuff I'm too lazy to mention. At the end of the day, we were tired and we hadn't completed the list! Rar.

Currently listening to the Backstreet Boys' albums. Gawd. I miss those guys. Their songs bring back grade school memories. haha XD

Woah. First Wednesday post for the month!
I noticed that this is the very first Wednesday post I've had for the month of November. Wala lang. :D

Happy 17th Birthday Kei! *hugz*
In celebration of Kei's birthday, we (the block) feasted on a melted Red Ribbon Chocolate Mousse cake at Manang's. Yum-ness. I was with Ingga before her taek class so when I went back to our table, there were only a few bits of melted cake left. Howell. The cake was still good. haha :P After that, I went back to Ingga @ MAC to "tie" her belt. Unfortunately, it seems as if I'll only be doing my "tie-belting" duties every Monday and Tuesday since Wednesday and Thursday classes need not wear the dobok (izzat how it's spelled?). Howell.

Scavenger Hunt at the Rizal Library
For English class, we went to the Rizal Library for some research exercises. We were asked to be grouped by three's. Lex asked me whether I could be her groupmate. Marc and James also asked me whether I could be their groupmate. Feeling important kuno. haha XD As much as I would love to be groupmates with Marc and James, Lex asked me first, so I agreed to join her and Cy. So we were at the Rizal Library, scouting for library research sources.

Examples of questions to be answered by searching for a particular library item:
1. During the Spanish times in the Philippines, the King of Spain wrote a DECREE FOR DISPATCH OF MISSIONS to the Philipppines. Where would you find a full copy of the text of this Decree?
2. In which reference material would you find an article, "Vendetta! The Maranaos System of Social Justice"? Who is its author?
3. What's the difference in the total number of information technology usership in the Philippines between 1999 and 2000?

OMG. Someone help me. Is this for real?! To think there are 10 questions and we have to search for the answers without asking help from the librarian. Drat.

Bonded with Lex afterwards. We went to Matteo to photocopy some stuff and get our locker forms.

AMA Mall Sing-a-long
My shift at the AMA Mall karaoke booth was fun. Bobby, Wits, and I sung our hearts out. Bobby rocked with his "amusing" singing voice. Wits was my "duet-mate". He's a pretty good singer. haha :D After that, Ingga came along and we both sung our hearts out, too, not caring about our audience. haha :P The "Magic Sing" karaoke thing is madaya. Its scoring system is based on how loud your voice is, so no matter how well you sing, if it isn't loud, you get a low score. This was why we kept on singing those novelty/annoying songs so that we could get high scores (hey, a 98 isn't bad! ahahaha :P). Though there were times when we sang love songs, but didn't really care much about the scores since those songs weren't fit for screaming our lungs out. haha :P I wanna sing again tomorrow! Anyone care to join me? I'll probably hang out in the karaoke booth tomorrow right after Calculus and before Botany Lec. hahaha :D

AL, mental note sa sarili: mag-aral ka na ah? Ayusin mo na iyang time management mo. Hindi ka marunong eh...tuloy, nagiging ULTIMATE crammer ka na. Howell.

All I Want For Christmas is YOU.
Haha that was my LSS song for the day. Nice, eh?
Jeff kept singing that song this morning, it got stuck in my head.

So here's how my day went:

1. Math was, well, math. People became restless upon knowing that only 30 minutes had actually passed by since class started. In fact, it actually felt like an hour or so had passed. Maika and Charles make the "best" seatmates ever. Throw in Kamae, Uana, and Kar and what do we get? Posers *ahem* Charles *ahem* on post-it notes and the "Spice Girls" (Uana, Kamae, Kar, Maika and Me) singing along to all things Spice Girls. ahahaha :P This is proof of what Calculus actually does to you. It makes you go insane and restless and singsongy all over. Hehehe :D I liked Mong's cap today. It was very....Lilo and Stitch-y (Maika!!!) :D

2. Botany Lab was okay, but boring. Nix, Dondee, Nats, and I spent time before lab trying to skim, scan, and scam your neighbor before the test (haha Nix! Papaano ba tayo magscascam kung magkapitbahay naman tayo diba? ahehehe :P). While doing the lab experiment, my labmates and I were copying from each other. People were going around, asking for info and stuff. haha :D It was fun to see the panicked look on people's faces because they were unable to complete the list (parang scavenger hunt naman kasi eh). Oh, and I found out from Nix that the rose is actually a symbolic thing about "love". haha Ngayon ko lang nalaman yun ah. Got hungry because of our lab experiment and immediately passed our papers when we (Nix and me) were done.

3. Nix and I found a new "tambayan" in a place called "Da Vinci's Cave". Our old hangout classroom (SECA124) was occupied by some class, so we settled for the "Cave" instead. It's not so bad, mainit nga lang. The only downside of the "Cave" was that it didn't have any tables and electric fans. hehehe :P Afterwards, some of our Botany classmates saw us and decided to hang out in the "Cave", too.

4. I love Botany Lecture. Dr. Lagunzad rocks! She's my favorite teacher for the second semester. I didn't get bored during the lecture because she had these interesting information and stories. Botany class is love. haha :D I noticed that she likes talking about love issues. haha :P Interesting, most especially for the guys in our class! :P We had a class game that soon followed her discussion. Gab cheated, so he won. Daya! haha

5. I am officially a taekwondo belt-er. In short, I'm the one tying my friends' taekwondo belts. Sabi nga ni Charles while I was tying his belt, "Nakakahiya naman. Yellow belter na ako tapos di pa ako marunong magtali ng belt." haha Charles, it's okay. :P Glad to help you out ;)

6. I was completely lost during Modern Jazz (but then again, weren't we all?). Imagine dancing to "Lady Marmalade" while everyone outside was looking at you. Yes, at you. And that includes your ex-happy crush. haha XD Nightmare. I got conscious because of that and decided not to dance "properly" anymore. Lysch, Hannah, and I made a pact to close the windows next meeting. Ahahaha :P Anyway, I made a new friend today in Modern Jazz. His name is Gary. I think he's from AHS. Hello, Gary! :D

7. Finally scheduled for my ITM Diagnostic test. It's on November 30 from 300pm-430pm at CTC114.

Thoughts of the day:

Sometimes the people we think are all that are not necessarily all that.

Sometimes people are just so mean, they can sometimes be inhumane.

Sometimes you can't help but feel stuck in the middle when your friends have fallen apart into two separate camps.

Somtimes it's hard to be the "Ate" of the block because you can't do much but only offer to listen.

But then again, life's like that. You just have to deal with it even though you know for a fact that your friends are warring against each other and you're simply helpless, caught in the middle.

The Poem I Promised.
Just got home from the AMA Mall set-up thing in the SEC field. Who knew the Ateneo Management Assosciation (AMA) was such a sausagefest?! I was one of the few girls in the team, and the guys were gentleman enough to do all the work (though I insisted that I wanted to help them out). It's official. I am now an expert in setting up a tent. Woo-hoo! :P Ingga and I bonded over food, torches, flames, the rain, flowers, crates, and many more. Ingga, the time I spent with you today was the second to the longest time I've ever solely spent with someone in one whole day in AdMU. Congrats! hahaha :D

And now, here's a poem I made up, inspired by our Lit class:

Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image

What is Poetry?
Poetry is that moment when we meet each other's gaze
Poetry is that feeling when passions ignite and blaze
Poetry is baring my very own soul to you
Poetry is what comforts us whenever we feel so blue
Poetry is always seen in the way you look at me
Poetry is that movement when we dance so gracefully
Poetry is when we need not speak to understand
Poetry is all around us, be it sea, sky or land
Poetry is taking the plunge into the depths of your soul
Poetry is simply everything that makes me feel so whole
Poetry is when you can plainly be yourself to me
Poetry is all about being true to your identity
Poetry is found in life, and life in poetry
Life is good through the ups and downs as long as you're here with me!

Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image
It sucks haha Ang labo ng ending :D But at least it's a whole lot better than the drowsing thingie of the bees in Lit class :P

Insert your title here. I don't wanna think.
For the past few days I've been really busy with schoolwork that I haven't exactly found the time to blog about how my week went. When I'm not busy, I'm tired or too lazy to blog. I guess Calculus must have been draining my brain too much. I love school, but math is killing me. Actually, Calculus isn't that difficult. It's just that I feel like my brain's turning to mush with overloaded information. Howell. Gotta cope with that.

Because my brain's all mushed up, most probably what I am about to blog would either not make any sense or would lack coherence. Please bear with me as I try to write a decent entry.

Lit class was "fun". Poems about bees and drowsing and nobody and all that stuff courtesy of, according to James, "old school" equipment in the MMR.

I almost fell asleep in Calculus class.

Uana, KatD, Kei, and I checked out the Blue Eagle Christmas Bazaar thingie in the Cervini/Eliazo field. Guess who we bumped into? SIR ARIS!!! I miss him so much. haha :P Sir, do you miss your palangke? XD

I am 1/3 of the Botany class beadles. While doing the seatplan, I discovered that there's exactly a one-to-one ration between males and females in our class. Asteeg.

I wanna watch HP4.

AMA Mall set-up tomorrow at the SEC Field from 7:30am to 12nn. See you guys there! Ingga, let me know when you arrive ah. I'll be in school around 7am...

To make up for this nonsense entry, I'll post a poem tomorrow. :D

***

Apparently, Coldplay's "The Scientist" is my song of the day. That song keeps on haunting me. People kept singing that song, making me get LSS-ed, and when I sat down for Math class, I noticed that someone had written the lyrics on my table. Weird. It's like someone's trying to tell me something by subconsciously making the song pop up everywhere I go--or maybe yet it's just plain and pure coincidence. Dunno.

Come up to meet ya, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need ya
And tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets, and nurse me your questions

Oh lets go back to the start

Running in circles, coming in tails
Heads on a science apart
Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard

Oh take me back to the start

I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Dance, dance, dance!!!
I had a blast in our Modern Jazz class earlier today. I love dancing. I really do. Ma'am was kinda happy with the way I did the stretching exercises because while the rest of my PE classmates were struggling with their stretches, I did mine with minimal difficulty. I have to thank one whole semester of Taekwondo for that. Lysch was kinda surprised that I could STRETCH. haha :D Lysch, Hannah, paano na ba iyan? Let me know if you guys absorbed the dance steps ah. I'm sorta lost, but if I don't think of the steps and do it mechanically/naturally/whatever, nagagawa ko naman. Weird.

At first I was kinda shy with all the people outside watching us dance (que horror! MAC, my ex-happy crush was there watching me dance! :o), but then I soon got tired of feeling conscious all over and decided, "what the heck, I'll just dance like no one is watching." And that's when I became more confident of myself and did not care if the people outside were watching. I didn't know who they were so I didn't care. hahaha :P

Botany Lecture was F-U-N! I'm beginning to like Botany. I like my teacher--she has this really cool way of catching our interest and keeping the class alive. I'm also beginning to get used to a NatSci without the rest of my loveable ES classmates. Howell. Kev! Next-door neighbors pa naman tayo eh. hehe :D Chua and her blockies sat-in in our Botany class. Hangkyut. They mistook Nix for Cardona's bro. haha :D Nix, sikat ka na! Whehehe ^^

Oh, and yeah. Yesterday, Jeff and I went on an adventure in search for our Calc book. We went malling, commuting, etc. , but with no luck we couldn't find what we were looking for. Howell. Next time ulit, little bro! :)

I'm just too lazy to blog.

P.S. I just realized that my blog has had 14,000 ++ visitors so far. Wow.
